As a performance, sport and exercise psychologist, with a huge passion for both sport and performing arts, and a background in both, I am extremely happy that I am seeing an increase in performing artists asking for #performancepsychology support. That mental edge is needed not only among athletes, but also among any kind of performer, be it a #singer , #dancer , #acting among others. Similar to training one’s body for a performance, one also needs to train the mind for that effortless performance. When this holistic preparation takes place, the day of performance becomes the day one eagerly awaits for, rather than the day that one dreads because of #performanceanxiety and #selfdoubt
